Who will win this year's Home Run Derby? Can Yoenis Cespedes repeat? 2014 Derby Odds courtesy of Bovada.lv.

The 2014 Home Run Derby will take place on Monday, July 14th at Target Field in Minneapolis, MN. The 20th annual Derby will feature a new format this season with bracketed play after the first round.

Here is a quick look at the power hitters participating in this year's contest.

    American League
    • Yoenis Cespedes: Is trying to become the first back-to-back winner since Ken Griffey, Jr. in 1998 and 1999.
    • Jose Bautista: Slumping at the wrong time? The Toronto slugger has just one home run in his last 21 games. Before last season's Derby, Cespedes only had one dinger in his past 19 games; we know how that worked out.
    • Josh Donaldson: One of a league high six Athletics participating in the All-Star Game, Donaldson was the last pick for the AL though his 20 home runs rank sixth in the American League.
    • Adam Jones: The Orioles center fielder is a long shot to win the long ball contest. Can he top teammate Chris Davis's total (12) from last year?
    • Brian Dozier: Trying to become just the second participant to win the Derby without being selected to the All-Star game itself like last year's champion Yoenis Cespedes.
    National League
    • Giancarlo Stanton: The Miami outfielder's average home run this season has traveled 423.8 feet, the longest of any player with at least ten homers.
    • Yasiel Puig: Has the fewest home runs of any participant in this year's contest. However, the Dodger super star is third on the Golden Sledgehammer list with an average true distance of 417.3 feet.
    • Troy Tulowitzki: The Rockies are just one of thirteen teams to not have won the Home Run Derby. The closest they came was third in 2007 (Matt Holliday) and 2013 (Michael Cuddyer).
    • Todd Frazier: Will try to become the first Reds player to win the Home Run Derby since Eric Davis in 1989.
    • Justin Morneau: A former American League MVP and four-time all-star with the Twins, Morneau will enjoy a homecoming in front of Twins fans. With Cespedes, Morneau is the only other former Derby champion in the field.
Note: There is almost 20 percent (18.8) juice built into these odds, there is not as much value in this prop bet as most straight wagers.
