The 2014 NBA Draft will take place on Thursday, June 26th in Brooklyn, NY. The list of potential draftees is talent rich and considered one of the deepest in recent years. The Cleveland Cavaliers have the No. 1 overall selection but there is uncertainty surrounding which player will go first and how the rest of the draft will shake out. Below, we look at the 2014 NBA Draft through the prism of prop bets.

Who will be selected with the No. 1 overall pick?

A week ago Joel Embiid, the 7-foot center from Kansas, was considered the likely pick for Cleveland. A stress fracture in his foot has drastically altered this year's draft. Embiid's Jayhawk teammate, Andrew Wiggins, is now the odds on favorite to be the first prospect selected in the draft.

    Player Odds
    Andrew Wiggins 1/2
    Jabari Parker 7/5
    Joel Embiid 12/1

How many non NCAA players will be drafted in the 1st Round?
    • Over/Under: 4.5
There are currently fourteen players listed on's prospect list that are considered non NCAA players. This includes international players, but also prospects from the NBA's D-League. In the last ten years there have been 46 players selected that were considered non NCAA players. The number fluctuates each year; seven non NCAA players were selected in last year's draft, the most in the last ten years.

How many NCAA Freshman will be drafted in the 1st Round?
    • Over/Under: 8.5
Nine freshmen declared for the 2014 draft: Joel Embiid (Kansas), Tyler Ennis (Syracuse), Aaron Gordon (Arizona), Zach LaVine (UCLA), Jabari Parker (Duke), Julius Randle (Kentucky), Noah Vonleh (Indiana), Andrew Wiggins (Kansas) and James Young (Kentucky)

In order to win this bet all nine frosh would need to be drafted in the first round. In Chad Ford's most recent two-round mock draft each player is selected by the 20th pick.

    Player's Draft Position Over/Under

When will some of the biggest names in the draft be called? Below are the over/unders for draft position. Each player listed received an invitation to the NBA Draft green room and all are expected to attend with the exception of Embiid due to his recent surgery.

How long will the last player listed have to wait to hear his name called? In 2013, the last of the thirteen invitees (Sergey Karasev) was selected with the 19th pick. In 2012, the last of the fourteen invitees (Tyler Zeller) was selected with the 17th pick.

    Player Pick
    Dante Exum 3.5
    Joel Embiid 5.0
    Julius Randle 6.5
    Marcus Smart 5.5
    Doug McDermott 9.5
    Nik Stauskas 10.5
