NHL Futures odds – which team is the favorite to win the title in 2015? Odds courtesy of Bovada.lv.

Unless you are a Los Angeles Kings fan, you are probably already looking forward to next season. Free agency, trades and the NHL Draft will change many teams before the puck drops on the 2015 season, but it is never too early to look at which teams are favored to win the Stanley Cup.

The Chicago Blackhawks are 7/1 favorites to win the Stanley Cup. A championship in 2015 would be the Blackhawks third title in six years. The reigning champions, the Los Angeles Kings, are 10/1 to repeat. No team has won back-to-back Stanley Cups since the Detroit Red Wings in 1997 and 1998.

    Additional Highlights
    • The West is strong – seven of the top ten teams hail from the Western Conference
    • The top thirteen teams with the best odds all made the 2014 playoffs.
    • Vancouver (25/1) is the best-regarded non-playoff team.
    • Despite representing the East in the Stanley Cup Finals, the New York Rangers (16/1) have just the eighth best odds.
    • Buffalo finished with the fewest points (52) in the league; the Sabres are 100/1 longshots.

    The Predictalator

05/10/2017 Highlight: With baseball season now into its second month, we can leverage our ResultsFinder tool to profile our season-to-date numbers. MLB sides and totals continue to remain extremely profitable despite a recent run of bad variance to start May. The Predictalator's record of 272-250 on sides and totals this season doesn't look all that impressive, but that's because the simulations have sided with underdogs more often than favorites. Through May 9, the Predictalator has generated $547 for an average $50 bettor. "Normal" or better sides, totals, and run lines (our strongest edges) are 14-10 (+$118) season-to-date.
