The San Francisco Giants defeated the Kansas City Royals in Game 7 of the World Series 3-2. Madison Bumgarner won the series MVP after pitching five scoreless innings in relief to lead the Giants to the team's third World Series title in five years.

    That's old news.

Let's talk 2015, when all of our favorite teams have a chance to win the Fall Classic. Who is the favorite to win the 2015 World Series?

    It's not the Giants.

The Dodgers and Nationals, two of the favorites to win the title before the postseason started this year, are 15/2 co-favorites to win the 2015 World Series.

The Giants are tied with the Cardinals at 12/1 for the fifth best odds. San Francisco has won the title in 2010, 2012 and now 2014. In the years in between the championship runs, the Giants missed the playoffs altogether.

For the first time since the Wild Card era began in the 1995, we had a postseason without either the Yankees or the Red Sox. Two of baseball's most popular teams are in the middle of the pack with 22/1 odds to return to glory.

Four teams are true longshots (100/1) to hoist the Commissioner's Trophy. The Diamondbacks, Rockies, Astros and Twins all finished at least 20 games out of first in their respective divisions in 2014.
