    Mayweather vs. Pacquiao (02/23/15)

The Fight of the Millennium, Floyd Mayweather Jr. vs. Manny Pacquiao, will finally take place on May 2 at the MGM Grand in Las Vegas.

Mayweather announced the showdown on social media last Friday. The bout between the future Hall of Famers will unify the fighters' welterweight world titles and is expected to be the richest in boxing history.

Who will win and claim the title as the best fighter of this era?

Money Mayweather is the heavy favorite (-260). You would have to wager $260 to win $100 if you back Mayweather or you could bet $100 on Pacquiao to win $200.

Though Mayweather is a big favorite, the line has dropped in the last month since news broke that both sides were negotiating the mega fight. Mayweather opened as a -300 favorite. Perhaps bettors believe Pac Man's power and aggressiveness can finally defeat Mayweather's defensive fighting style. More likely, bettors prefer longshots with big payouts.

Will the fight go the distance?
    • Yes: -300
    • No: +200

Probably. The last time Mayweather stopped an opponent with a knockout was the September 2011 fight against Victor Ortiz, his only KO in the last eight years. Manny hasn't knocked anyone out since Miguel Cotto in 2009.

    Total Pay-Per-View Buys
    • Over/Under: 3.15 Million

HBO and Showtime will produce and distribute a joint pay-per-view telecast with an expected cost to be $89.95, a record-high, (plus an additional $10 for high definition). The all-time record for most pay-per-view buys is just under 2.5 million. If the over hits it won't just break the record it will smash it.

So who will be crowned the pound-for-pound king? We will find out May 2, but if boxing isn't your thing you can always quench your betting thirst with the Kentucky Derby, which will run earlier in the day.

03/13/2017 Highlight: Using our ResultsFinder tool, it's evident that the Predictalator is entering March Madness in incredible form. The Predictalator posted 59 "normal" or better plays in March (plays with greater than 57% confidence) and went a stellar 36-23 (61.0%) on those plays. An average $50 bettor would have profited $678 using our recommended wager sizes. After posting an outstanding 8-1 (88.9%) ATS record on "normal" or better sides in last year's NCAA Tournament, the Predictalator looks poised to produce more NCAA Tournament winners.
