2015 NFL Draft: 7 Round Mock

by Matt Richner, NFL Draft Expert and Paul Bessire, GM, PredictionMachine.com
Last Updated: 2/25/2016 7:35 PM ET
Utilizing our unique, objective approach to player projections and development, PredictionMachine.com presents its 2015 NFL Draft content, including a Seven Round Mock Draft, Position-by-Position Reports, Statistical Breakdowns and Future Projections for all prospects in the 2015 NFL Draft. Also available this year is the new and improved NFL Draft Machine for customizable mock drafts and comprehensive draft evaluation (before the draft or as it happens). All NFL Draft Content is FREE from PredictionMachine.com's Paul Bessire as well as NFL Draft Expert Matt Richner.

NFL Draft Expert Matt Richner, who has worked and continues to work with several NFL front offices and PredictionMachine.com General Manager Paul Bessire took the reigns of all 32 teams in the 2015 NFL Draft to create this full, seven round "objective draft." With a complete evaluation of teams' strengths and weaknesses as well as an analysis of every player's talent (work that also powers the innovative NFL Draft Machine, which was used to power this process), this "mock" draft represents what each organization SHOULD do in the 2015 NFL Draft. It is not at all related to any expectation as to what teams will do in this week's draft.

Focusing solely on verifiable, objective information about each player and ignoring what pundits think will actually happen with each pick, each draft selection below finds the ideal fit at each pick based upon the following: team needs, previous and future picks, ability to tolerate risk, players' strengths, weaknesses, ceilings and floors, offensive and defensive scheme assignments and players' relevant talent levels. For example, due to an elite roster with few weaknesses and a large quantity of picks in the 2015 draft, New England and Green Bay can assume risk and, thus, take chances on players with high ceilings that may have red flags elsewhere, whereas teams like Buffalo and Chicago are in the opposite position.

Since we were running every team's draft, we followed the current draft order and did not allow for any trades. You can do this as well for free with an easy-to-use interface and instant analysis with draft class evaluation in the NFL Draft Machine.

For clarity, Matt ran the draft boards for the Buccaneers, Titans, Jaguars, Raiders, Redskins, Jets, Bears, Falcons, Giants, Rams, Vikings, Browns, Saints, Dolphins, 49ers and Texans. Paul did the rest. This is an exceptionally important distinction this year as Matt and Paul disagree at the top of the quarterback rankings. This process was completed over two days, but could have been done in less than two hours with the new and improved NFL Draft Machine. Based on these results and the NFL Draft Machine analysis, the top five classes are: 1) Bengals 2) Ravens 3) Chiefs 4) Patriots and 5) Browns. The bottom five classes are: 32) Dolphins 31) Bears 30) Bills 29) Falcons and ) 28) Lions. The teams with the most projected wins added from the draft class are: 1) Jets 2) Chargers 3) Bengals 4) Cardinals and 5) Vikings. No team in this mock draft fails to add a starter for 2015.

Read more about how rankings and projections are done and check out the NFL Draft Podcasts as well as additional content throughout this week and next.

    The Predictalator

05/10/2017 Highlight: The NHL Playoffs have featured some very tight lines posted by oddsmakers, which has led to lower volume for the Predictalator. That hasn't let to less profits though. The Predictalator has posted 10 NHL positions (ML, O/U, or PL) in May, going 8-2 (80%) on those positions for a profit of $87. It is rare to find a big edge in the NHL this late in the year, but the Predictalator continues to chip away on small edges to provide solid returns.
