Four different contestants went 5-0 vs. the spread in Week 9 of the Prediction Machine NFL Pick ’em Contest and four others finished the week 4-1.
Kansas City Chiefs reporter Darren Smith wasn’t slowed down by his trip to Germany for the Chiefs – Dolphins game as he went undefeated this week along with The Clayton Tribune’s Enoch Autry and two PM subscribers (“STEELCITY BOYZ” and “SHIEKHERS”).
The one-loss group was headlined by NBC Sports Analyst Samantha Bunten, OddsShark.com content creator Mitch Bannon and AllDolphins.com publisher Alain Poupart. PM subscriber “NANRA23” also finished the week 4-1.
At the halfway mark of the season, the overall lead is still held by PM subscriber “PENETRATORS” who went 3-2 this week and sits at 31-14 atop the standings with a one-game lead on “SHIEKHERS.” Five contestants are three games back with a 28-17 record including Bannon, Smith, and eatdrinkandsleepfootball.com’s Kevin Hanson.
PM subscriber “SMOKESTER” is the only contestant with exactly 27 wins and behind him are five contestants tied for ninth place. Those contestants are: Kris Abbott, Bacon Bets Podcast host Iain MacMillan, Chicago Bears content creator “DEEKSVIEW,” @FPC_Commanders podcast host Geroge Carmi, and “NICKRICHIE24.”
Directly behind that group there are five contestants tied at 25-20 including Prediction Machine Betting Analyst Tony Farmer, thehuddlereport.com’s Robby Esch, Saints sideline reporter Jeff Nowak, and two PM subscribers (“RMENDIVIL and “FLAVES”).
The contest features over 53 contestants and this week the most popular selection (18) was the Cleveland Browns to cover vs. the Cardinals. Eleven contestants picked up losses when the Patriots failed to cover the spread vs. the Commanders.
